The greatest challenge facing sub Saharan Africa today is poverty

According to the UN World Youth Report 2007 young people are particularly affected by poverty. Yet, their representation in poverty reduction efforts is hardly felt. This exclusion of youth makes poverty reduction efforts less effective.

Tackling Poverty Together (TPT) initiative works towards highlighting and strengthening the role of young people in national poverty reduction strategies
